Developing eHealth Research Institute
The eHealth Research Institute of Harbin Institute of Technology was founded in 2013. It relies on Harbin Institute of Technology. At the begining, the Institute has only two teachers, one doctoral student and four master's students. So far, it has 55 team members, including Doug Vogel, Guo Xitong, Ju Xiaofeng and Zhao Xinli Professor , assistant professor Gregory R. Heim (part-time tutor), Wu Tianshi lecturer , 2 visiting scholars , 4 visiting researchers (enterprises), 2 post-doctoral students, 29 doctoral students and 12 master students. The eHealth Research Institute has always adhered to the theory and practice research driven by China's national conditions, formed a multi-angle, multi-method research team, and the related researches have also received widespread attention in the field of international medical and health.
Since 2013, more than 80 academic papers have been published by young teachers and doctoral students of the eHealth Research Institute, including JMIS, ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems (ACM TMIS), DSS, IJEC, ECRA, Electronic Markets (EM) and other well-known international academic journals. It undertakes research projects including key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, outstanding youth science fund projects , surface projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (4 numbers), and Youth Science Fund projects (3 numbers), talents of the Ministry of Education in the new century and Xiangjiang Scholars Fund. its establishment
