In the afternoon of 8 July 2025, Assistant Professor Lei Li from Department of Logistics and Shipping, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University was invited to visit Hong Kong and give a lecture entitled Operational Data Analytics (ODA) with Transfer Learning, Cross Learning and Co-learning in Science Park 425 for academic exchange. learning.

Prof. Lei Li graduated from Purdue University with a PhD degree, and his research interests include data-driven decision modelling and stochastic modelling, and his results have been published in top international journals such as Management Science and Production and Operations Management. In the lecture, Prof Li systematically explained the data analysis methods in operations research and supply chain management, and focused on the latest progress and application scenarios of transfer learning, cross-learning and collaborative learning in operations data analysis. The report not only demonstrated the theoretical frontiers, but also provided new ideas for promoting the integration of operations management and data intelligence.
