On July 8, 2025, Dr. Li Lei, Assistant Professor in the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, delivered a lecture at HIT Science Park 425 entitled “Operational Data Analytics (ODA) with Transfer Learning, Cross Learning and Co-learning.”

Prof. Li, who received his Ph.D. from Purdue University, specializes in data-integrated decision making and stochastic modeling, with research published in leading journals such as Management Science and Production and Operations Management. In his lecture, he presented cutting-edge methodologies in operational data analytics, emphasizing the roles of transfer learning, cross learning, and co-learning in advancing applications in operations and supply chain management. His talk provided valuable insights into integrating data intelligence with operations research and management practices.
