On 4 June 2025, Professor Guo Xitong, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Director of the Institute of e-Health at the School of Economics and Management, Harbin Institute of Technology, visited the University of Queensland, Australia, to carry out academic exchanges on the frontiers of digital healthcare and information systems.

During the visit, Prof Guo Xitong had in-depth discussions with Prof Andrew Burton-Jones of the University of Queensland, Prof Anandhi Bharadwaj of Emory University and Prof Ritu Agarwal of Johns Hopkins University. The discussion focused on information systems research methodology, digital healthcare platform innovation and interdisciplinary cooperation.

This exchange laid a good foundation for further promoting the cooperation between HIT and internationally renowned scholars and institutions, and is of positive significance for expanding the international influence of HIT's research on digital health and information systems.
