On 31st May 2025, Professor Guo Xitong, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor and Director of Institute of e-Health, School of Economics and Management, Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), was awarded the title of Rising Star of Education. Professor Guo has long adhered to the philosophy of unity and excellence, independence and self-confidence, based on the forefront, rooted in practice, and has trained 128 postgraduates, of which many doctoral graduates have been employed in well-known universities in China. He has presided over 13 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, published more than 150 papers in top international journals, and promoted digital healthcare services covering more than 20 provinces in China.
