Professor Bin Gu from Boston University visited the eHealth Research Institute HIT on July 12 and July 15, 2024.

Professor Bin Gu is the Everett W. Lord Distinguished Faculty Scholar, Professor and Department Chair of Information Systems at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University. His research interest examines information asymmetry and social inequity in fintech, digital platforms, the future of work, online social media and social networks, and online retailing. His work has appeared in leading academic journals including Management Science, MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, Journal of Management Information Systems and has received over 16000 citations. Professor Gu was awarded the INFORMS Information Systems Society Distinguished Fellow Award in 2022 for his outstanding intellectual contributions to the information systems discipline.

Professor Bin Gu provided an academic presentation and shared his valuable insights on the development trends of information systems. He also guided the students on their research insights and research projects.
