From July 7 to 9, 2023, Professor Yicheng Song from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota was invited to visit our eHealth Research Institute at the School of Economics and Management at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). The main research interests of Professor Yicheng Song are personalized recommendations, consumer purchase paths, etc., with the method of machine learning and economic structure modeling.

During the visit, Professor Xitong Guo introduced the progress of our research and engineering projects, and listened to Prof. Song’s suggestions. At the same time, Prof. Song also shared his latest research, Consumer Search and Dynamic Preferences: A Deep Learning based Structured Econometric Model.

In addition, Prof. Song Yicheng guided the students on their research directions, answered some problems they encountered during the research process, and provided valuable suggestions for their research planning.
