Digitization of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) - digital diagnosis and treatment project of Chinese medicine dialectic for kidney disease

        Characterized by low cost and high community recognition, TCM service played an important role in alleviating the disease and mitigating the shock of the pandemic, especially during the period of COVID-19. In order to promote the standardization and digitalization of TCM service, our Institute actively responds to national policies to focus on the high-quality development and inheritance and innovation of TCM, and help promote the modernization process in terms of talent training, scientific and technological innovation, service optimization and classical communications through digital means. Collaborating with Heilongjiang Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, this project builds a digital asset management platform for TCM by integrating data from the classical ancient books of TCM, the four diagnoses during treatment, TCM treatment plans, TCM classical prescriptions, and patient cases. Based on this platform, multi-modal sensory information integration and cross-modal TCM knowledge application are realized through the functions of teaching simulation, patient and data management, scientific research assistance, and diagnosis and treatment assistance. Based on the pain points in the development of TCM and by means of integration of industrialization, study, research, medicine and government, this project aims to promote the inheritance and innovation of TCM, improve the development of combination of Chinese and western medicine and enhance the medical treatment and service quality of TCM.
