Professor Gregory R. Heim visited the eHealth Research Institute from May. 22^th to 31^th. Gregory R. Heim is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information & Operations Management of Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. He holds a business administration Ph.D. in operations and management science from the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. Dr. Heim’s research interests include topics in service operations, e-service operations, management of technology, and retail supply chain management. Dr. Heim serves as a Department Editor for the Technology Management area of Journal of Operations Management.He is on the Editorial Review Board of Production and Operations Management and Journal of Service Research. His articles appear in Decision Sciences, Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Service Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, and other journals.

      On 29^th, May 2019, Gregory R. Heim presented his working paper titled “Impact of the Value Based Purchasing Program on Hospital Operations Outcomes: An Econometric Analysis” in the eHealth Research Institute, introducing the VBP Program and its impact on Hospital Operation Outcomes in United States. After the presentation, Dr. Heim discussed with members of Institute on their research ideas and offered his in-depth guidance on their topics.
