Dr. Johanna Vogel has taught business communication skills at universities and colleges for over 20 years, focusing especially on academic writing and oral presentations. She has a BA in English and Music; two MAs in German and Education; and her Doctorate in Education from the University of Bristol, UK, which was on “Factors affecting the use of Internet Technology in Teaching.” In 1995 she won the Teaching Excellence Award at City University, where she was also Manager of the Self-Access Learning Centre for five years.

       Students agree that they learned a lot during this seminar. ''Jo pointed out numerous details that I did not notice'', said Zhang,Yifan. He strongly agreed that specific examples mentioned were quite helpful. Additionally, Wenchao Du and Min Zhang stressed that they came to realize the importance of paper structure.
