On the afternoon of May 27, 2015, the 3rd top graduate ten team award held in 301, activity center in Harbin Institute of Technology. Our research institute won the honorary title of top ten team nominee in this competition.



The eHealth Research Institute (eHRI), founded in May 7, 2013, is an academic research center within the School of Management (SOM) in Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). It provides a platform for academia as well as interaction with practice in healthcare and related areas.



Professor Doug Vogel serves as the director of the institute. Professor Vogel is the chief academic adviser of HIT, an Association for Information Systems (AIS) Fellow and past AIS President. Professor Xitong Guo is the deputy director. eHRI seeks to study the technology innovation and management challenges produced by the interaction among patients, doctors, hospitals and service providers supported by information connected and emerging ICTs. Chinese characteristics are specially focused. eHRI aims to improve healthcare service effectiveness and efficiency, cultivate graduate students and publish research in premier academic journals. Currently, students of eHealth research institute are either from leading domestic or overseauniversities, and published 16 academic papers. Our institute also kept closed relationship with many hospitals(e.g., (Harbin Medical University First Affiliated Hospital), and Lujiazui Intelligence Community, Shanghai in order to carry out more related research.
